From early December - Summer Start

There will be no changes to V/Line services when the Metro Tunnel opens.

Passengers on regional lines will be able to access the new stations by making a change when the extra services are running between West Footscray and Westall. Plan ahead at the Transport Victoria website.

Metro Tunnel stations
Change at:
  • Footscray Station on weekdays
  • Sunshine or Footscray stations on weekends

Geelong and Warrnambool lines

Metro Tunnel stations
Change at:
  • Footscray Station on weekdays
  • Sunshine or Footscray stations on weekends.

Traralgon and Bairnsdale lines

Metro Tunnel stations
Connect to Metro Tunnel services at:
  • Caulfield Station
  • Flinders Street Station using the Degraves Street Subway to Town Hall Station
  • Pakenham, Dandenong or Clayton stations on some weekend services.

Bendigo, Echuca and Swan Hill lines

Metro Tunnel stations
Change at:
  • Footscray Station on weekdays
  • Sunbury or Footscray stations on weekends.

Albury, Seymour and Shepparton lines

Metro Tunnel stations
Change to a City Loop service at North Melbourne or Southern Cross, then change at:
  • Melbourne Central using the concourse to State Library
  • Flinders Street using the Degraves Street Subway to Town Hall.
