Welcome to the Metro Tunnel Scavenger Hunt.

Choose a route, follow the clues and hunt down virtual collectibles hidden in QR codes along the way!

If you finish all three routes, enter the draw to win 1 of 10 $150 mykis and Metro Tunnel merch.

Starts Monday 12 January and runs until Sunday 25 January.

Here's how it works

  1. Head to our Scavenger Hunt app (best viewed on a mobile phone).
  2. There are 3 different Scavenger Hunt routes to choose from (or you can do all 3!).
    1. Western Track (Sunbury)
    2. Central Track (Metro Tunnel)
    3. Eastern Track (Cranbourne/Pakenham)
  3. Hint: The Scavenger Hunt locations are landmarks, parks, gardens, cafes, bakeries, shops and art murals.
  4. Use the clues (see below) to find the first location. Look for a QR code – it may be on a footpath, wall or in a window.
  5. Scan the QR code to find a collectible and get your next clue.
  6. Each Scavenger Hunt route includes 5 locations to visit.
  7. If you complete all three Scavenger Hunt routes (15 places in total), you go into the running to win 1 of 10 $150 myki passes and some Metro Tunnel merch. An entry form will pop up on the app when you complete the whole Scavenger Hunt. (View the Terms and Conditions)

Ready for your first clues?

Here you go:

  • Eastern Track – In the Domain, service and sacrifice here, step into the Visitor Centre where a clue will appear.
  • Central Track – Bluestone, a grand clock and civic pride – a city centre, where councils meet and crowds collide.
  • Western Track – Where clocks look down and people meet — an iconic start on Flinders Street.
