Metro Tunnel Scavenger Hunt – January 2026

Terms and Conditions

Participation

1. This competition (“Promotion”) is conducted by VIDA Metro (formerly the Metro Tunnel Project Office), a division of the Victorian Infrastructure Delivery Authority (VIDA), an administrative office in relation to the Department of Transport and Planning, ABN 69 981 208 782 of Level 12, 628 Bourke Street, Melbourne, VIC 3000, www.bigbuild.vic.gov.au (“Promoter”).

2. There is no entry fee for the Promotion.

3. Entry to the Promotion constitutes acceptance of these conditions.

4. The Promotion is only open to Eligible Entrants. An “Eligible Entrant” is an individual who, at the time of entry:

• i. is a current resident of the State of Victoria;
• ii. is not an employee, contractor or supplier of the Promoter or VIDA; and
• iii. is not a spouse, de-facto partner, parent, child or sibling of such an employee, contractor or supplier.

5. The Promotion entry opens at 12:00am AEST on Monday 12 January 2026 and closes at 11:59pm AEST on Sunday 25 January 2026 (“Entry Period”).

6. To validly enter the Promotion, an Eligible Entrant must follow the entry instructions in these conditions.

7. An Eligible Entrant must, during the Entry Period:

• i. i. enter the Metro Tunnel Scavenger Hunt app via the Metro Tunnel Scavenger Hunt website, available at https://bigbuild.vic.gov.au/scavenger-hunt;
• ii. complete the Metro Tunnel Scavenger Hunt by visiting all fifteen (15) locations across the three (3) different Metro Tunnel Scavenger Hunt routes (Western Track (Sunbury Line); Central Track (Metro Tunnel); and Eastern Track (Cranbourne/Pakenham Line)) (as shown by scanning the QR codes located at each of the fifteen (15) locations) during the Entry Period; and
• iii. complete the entry form which will become available via the Metro Tunnel Scavenger Hunt app once all three (3) Metro Tunnel Scavenger Hunt routes have been completed (“Entry Form”).

8. An Eligible Entrant may enter the Promotion only once during the Entry Period.

9. Validity of entries and selection of entries is at the sole and absolute discretion of the Promoter.

10 The Promoter reserves the right to cancel all or any part of the Promotion at its sole and absolute discretion.

Winners

11. All valid entries to the Promotion will go into a random draw. The Promoter will select ten (10) winners at random from valid entries on Monday 2 February 2026.

12. The Promoter may disqualify any entrant who submits an entry or prize claim that is not valid, or who tampers with the entry process. An entry that is incomplete, indecipherable, illegible, contains explicit or otherwise offensive language or is non-compliant with these conditions is invalid.

13. The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries, prize claims and entrants (including an entrant’s identity, state of residence or age).

14. The Promoter will notify the winners via an email and/or call to the email address and/or phone number provided on their Entry Form in accordance with these conditions within seven (7) days of the date of the draw.

15. If a winning entry is invalid or a winner is unable to be contacted within seven (7) days of the date of the draw, the Promoter may redraw a replacement winner and notify the replacement winner in accordance with these conditions.

16. In the event that a winner is aged 17 years or younger, the Promoter will require the parent or guardian of the winner to provide the relevant acceptance and consents required under these conditions within seven (7) days of the date of notification by the Promoter. If the parent or guardian of the winner does not provide the relevant acceptance and consents, the prize will be forfeited, and the Promoter may draw a replacement winner in accordance with these conditions.

17. The winner consents to the Promoter publishing their first name on the Promoter’s website and social media or other promotional materials, and filming and photographing the winner.

Prize

18. Each winner will receive one (1) myki Money Pass valued at AUD$150 and Metro Tunnel merchandise.

19. The prize, or any unused portion of the prize, is not exchangeable and cannot be taken as cash.

20. Each winner must collect the myki Money Pass from the Promoter at Metro Tunnel HQ at 125-133 Swanston Street, Melbourne, VIC 3000, or as otherwise agreed between each winner and the Promoter.

21. Neither the prize, nor any unused part of the prize, can be sold, scalped, auctioned, raffled, pledged, or promoted as an incentive or reward.

22. To the extent permitted by law, the Promoter makes no representations or warranties as to the quality, suitability, or merchantability of the prize.

23. The Promoter is not liable for any prize being lost, damaged, unavailable, uncollected or undelivered.

General

24. The Promoter will collect and use personal information to enable the administration and promotion of the Promotion in accordance with these conditions. Personal information will be collected and handled in accordance with VIDA’s Privacy Policy, available at https://bigbuild.vic.gov.au/privacy-collection-statement/privacy-policy.

25. The Promoter shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for any personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with the prize or the Promotion, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
