This report summarises the audit activities and outcomes during the 6-month period covering construction activities for the M80 Ring Road Completion and Eastern Freeway Upgrades from November 2024 – April 2025.

11 audits were conducted during the reporting period.

A total of 46 audit findings were raised and each work package established corrective actions to address the audit findings.

• M80 Ring Road Completion: 3 non-compliances, 16 area for improvement and 6 observations. The M80 Ring Road Alliance closed out 37 findings during the reporting period, comprising of 9 Non-Compliances, 20 Areas For Improvement, and 8 Observations. Findings which remained opened at the end of the reporting period require appropriate corrective action to manage and control the associated risks.
• Eastern Freeway Upgrades (Burke Road to Tram Road): 5 non-compliances, 9 areas for improvement and 7 observations. The Eastern Freeway (Burke to Tram) Alliance closed out 21 findings during the reporting period, comprising of 2 Non-Compliances, 7 Areas For Improvement, and 12 Operations. Findings which remained opened at the end of the reporting period require appropriate corrective action to manage and control the associated risks.
• Eastern Freeway Upgrades (Hoddle Street to Burke Road): this package of works had not commenced within the reporting period.
• Eastern Freeway Upgrades (Tram Road to Springvale Road): this package of works had not commenced within the reporting period.
