Hop on! Shuttle bus service continues in Parkdale

Back to Newsfeed

We're removing the Warrigal Road, Mentone and Parkers Road, Parkdale level crossings and building a new Parkdale Station.

Getting to your local shops at Mentone and Mordialloc stations will be easy with a free community shuttle bus, connecting you to Frankston Line trains until mid 2024.

While Parkdale Station is closed, the shuttle bus will run between Mentone and Mordialloc stations – stopping in Parkdale, approximately every 10 minutes on weekdays and every 20 minutes on weekends. There will be pick up and drop off points along Como Parade West and Como Parade East.

You will see signage around the station area showing you where you can catch the shuttle bus stop or find a pedestrian crossing. Warrigal Road and Parkers Road are now both open to pedestrians and traffic.

To keep Frankston Line trains running during our works, we have built a temporary rail track next to Como Parade East. Trains will run on the temporary track until the new Parkdale Station opens in mid 2024.
