Picture paw-fect at Parkdale

Last weekend, more than 50 locals and their furry friends went walkies to Parkdale Village to get a professional pet portrait and chat to our project team about the Parkdale level crossing removal project.

The community event featured props, costumes and a professional photographer taking happy snaps with locals and their pets. Check out some of the paw-some photos below!

In between the paw-fect pet portraits, our project team spoke to the community about getting to the tail end of the project and the upcoming construction blitz, including what works will take place and any changes to the way locals will move around the area during this time.

From Sunday 14 July, the team at Parkdale will be working 24 hours in a final construction blitz to remove the boom gates at Warrigal and Parkers roads and open the new Parkdale Station ready for passengers and trains in early August.
