We’re encouraging shoppers at Greensborough, Montmorency and Diamond Creek to support local traders by entering our Spend and Win Competition.
Works are accelerating to allow more trains, more often, create less crowding on peak services and better connections to public transport in Melbourne’s growing north-east.
Crews are busy preparing to duplicate 2km of track between Greensborough and Montmorency and 1.5km between Diamond Creek and Wattle Glen.
The Hurstbridge Line Duplication project also features two new stations at Greensborough and Montmorency, an upgrade of Diamond Creek Station platform 2 and a new pedestrian crossing behind Diamond Valley College.
We appreciate the communities’ understanding and patience as our crews get on with these important works, and we’re throwing our support behind local traders with our Spend and Win competition.
Over four weeks from 15 July 2022 and 12 August 2022, shoppers who spend at least $10 in a single transaction at participating traders can enter our weekly prize draws.
Entry forms will be available from the traders and need to be submitted to them.
A total of 36 $100 vouchers will be up for grabs to spend at participating traders within Greensborough, Montmorency and Diamond Creek.
To identify participating traders, shoppers will see our Spend and Win competition posters on display.
A list of participating traders is available below, and please visit our terms and conditions page for more competition information.
Over coming weeks, crews will start building the new Greensborough Station pedestrian bridge and concourse and install the new Plenty River rail bridge. By the middle of 2023, trains are targeted to be running along the duplicated track and stopping at the new stations.
