We’re encouraging shoppers in Glen Huntly to support local traders by entering our Spend and Win competition.
Works are well underway to remove two dangerous and congested level crossings at Neerim Road and Glen Huntly Road, where the rail line will be lowered into a trench.
Piling, utilities and drainage relocations are in progress along the rail corridor in preparation for the ‘big dig’ in 2023.
We appreciate community and trader understanding and patience as our crews get on with these important works, and we’re throwing our support behind local businesses with our Spend and Win competition.
Over a week and a half from Monday 17 October to Wednesday 26 October 2022, shoppers who spend at least $10 in a single transaction at participating traders can enter the prize draws.
A total of six $100 vouchers will be up for grabs to spend at participating Glen Huntly traders.
To identify participating traders, shoppers will see our Spend and Win competition posters on display.

Also encouraging locals to shop in the area is a Halloween Scavenger Hunt from Monday 17 October to Wednesday 26 October 2022, with 15 gift packs up for grabs.
Shoppers can visit any of the participating 20 traders to find “spook-tacular signs”, and once 10 have been found, they will go in the draw to win a gift pack.
The project will also include a brand new Glen Huntly Station featuring an impressive station forecourt, a new tram stop outside the station and a walking and cycling path connecting Ormond and Caulfield, has been fast-tracked for completion in 2024.
