Planning is underway for the potential future upgrade of Barwon Heads Road from Reserve Road, Charlemont to Lower Duneed Road, Armstrong Creek.
As part of our planning, we’re investigating potential options to:
- enhance the benefits that will result from the first stage of the Barwon Heads Road upgrade, which is due to be complete this year
- improve safety
- increase the capacity of the road
- improve journey reliability
- reduce travel times
- make it easier to walk and cycle in the area.

To help inform our planning for the potential future Barwon Heads Road Upgrade – Stage 2 and shape the development of design options, we want to hear from you.
We want to know how you currently use the road, your views on safety and traffic flow, any concerns you have and what we should consider in our planning.
