Calling all explorers! The Metro Tunnel's Passport Challenge and Scavenger Hunt are underway from now until January 25.
Passport Challenge
Take on our Passport Challenge and collect 5 stamps to win a set of Metro Tunnel pins.
How it works
Pick up a passport book from Metro Tunnel HQ or at any of our 5 new stations to begin your adventure.
Head to Arden, Parkville, State Library, Town Hall and Anzac stations and stamp your passport at each of our machines.
Once you've collected all 5 stamps, you’ll win a set of Metro Tunnel pins! (Be quick, as sets are limited). You can collect your prize from the Metro Tunnel staff member at the passport machine or head to Metro Tunnel HQ. Kids who head to HQ will also score a train whistle.
Stamps at the stations are available between 10am and 3pm, until Sunday 25 January.
Scavenger Hunt
Explore the Metro Tunnel stations and beyond with the Scavenger Hunt, win merch prizes and go into a grand prize draw.
How it works
Head to our Scavenger Hunt app (best viewed on a mobile phone).
There are 3 Scavenger Hunt routes to choose from:
- Eastern Track (Along the Cranbourne/Pakenham Line)
- Central Track (Based around the CBD)
- Western Track (Along the Sunbury Line)
Follow the clues and hunt the collectables hidden in QR codes at each point, you will then be given a hint to the next destination.
When you’ve found all 5 collectibles on a track, head to Metro Tunnel HQ and collect a mini prize.
If you finish all three routes, enter the draw to win 1 of 10 $150 mykis and Metro Tunnel merch. View Terms and Conditions.
Ready for your first clues?
Here you go:
- Eastern Track – In the Domain service and sacrifice here, step into the Visitor Centre where a clue will appear.
- Central Track – Bluestone, a grand clock and civic pride – a city centre, where councils meet and crowds collide.
- Western Track – Where clocks look down and people meet — an iconic start on Flinders Street.

Prizes for both activities are limited and available while stocks last.
