Bulleen Park set for game-changing upgrades

Back to Newsfeed

The much-anticipated upgrades to the sporting facilities at Bulleen Park are a step closer, with Built Environs announced as the project’s head contractor working alongside Williams Ross Architects, to complete the design.

The Bulleen Park Sports Upgrade is part of North East Link’s huge investment into local sporting facilities and will be delivered by Development Victoria.

Bulleen Park Sports Upgrade will include:

  • 2 new replacement pavilions
  • 3 realigned and upgraded ovals
  • upgrades to sports field lighting, cricket nets, and fencing
  • new trees and vegetation
  • upgrading playground equipment and park amenities
  • reconfigured car parking.

Final designs of the project will be finalised mid-2025, with early works beginning in February 2025.

Major construction of the Bulleen Park Sports Upgrade is expected to generate approximately 80 jobs and is scheduled to be completed in 2028. Bulleen Park will continue to be owned and managed by Manningham Council.

We’re committed to minimising the impact on sporting and recreation facilities and we’ve been working closely with clubs that will need to relocate to new grounds, either temporarily or permanently.

We’ve worked in collaboration with local councils, sports clubs and state sporting associations, schools, and landowners, to determine the best places to deliver these upgrades for the greatest community benefit and to ensure they are set up for success well into the future.
