The Bulleen Park Sports Upgrade is part of North East Link’s more than $100 million investment into local sporting facilities and will be delivered by Development Victoria.
Bulleen Park Sports Upgrade which will include:
- 2 new replacement pavilions
- 3 realigned and upgraded sports ovals
- upgrades to sports field lighting, cricket nets, and fencing
- new trees and vegetation
- upgrading playground equipment and park amenities
- reconfigured car parking
Final designs of the project will be finalised mid-2025, with early works beginning in February 2025.
Major construction of the Bulleen Park Sports Upgrade is expected to generate approximately 80 jobs and is scheduled to be completed in 2028. Bulleen Park will continue to be owned and managed by Manningham Council.
Construction will be staged to ensure the current users of the existing ovals 2 and 3 continue to have access throughout the construction period, which includes Yarraleen Cricket Club, Bulleen Templestowe District Junior Football Club and Yarra Junior Football League training.
