Stage 2 works at Ford Park

Back to Newsfeed

We’re fast-tracking Stage 2 works to keep local sports thriving while we build North East Link.

Works will kick off in early September to upgrade the northern oval, new LED lighting and electronic scoreboard, player shelters, a synthetic turf wicket and upgraded walking paths.

Banyule City Council will manage the works to the northern oval, which are expected to be complete in early 2024.

Major upgrades were completed in 2021 as part of stage 1 works. This included a new pavilion and public toilets, office facilities and social space, upgraded southern oval, public exercise circuit, multi-use court, cricket practice nets, upgraded car park as well as extensive tree planting and landscaping.

Find out more about the works in the September community update.
