On Monday 4 December, Bulleen Road was reopened after works that began on 24 November were completed.

New lanes on Bulleen Road have been built to create the space needed to build the new Yarra Link Green Bridge and North East Link tunnel entrance.

Bulleen Road now also features a new signalised intersection at Bulleen Park Access Road, allowing safer access for Carey Grammar and Bulleen Park users.

Why were these changes necessary?

By building the new Bulleen Road now, we’ll ensure the road stays open as tunnelling works progress. This will help road users plan their journeys ahead of time and reduce disruptions.

Will Bulleen Road lanes move again after tunnelling is complete?

These new lanes will remain in place until 2026.

There will be additional works on Bulleen Road as the project nears completion.
