Work is progressing at the Lower Plenty Road interchange site as we build the large foundation walls that will form the new on and off ramps to the North East Link tunnels near Oban Way in Yallambie. The interchange ramps will be built using a method called cut and cover. With extended hours works underway to complete these works ahead of tunnelling starting from mid-2024.

After we finish this section of the tunnel, we’ll build the new Borlase Park Reserve on top of it, returning a vibrant green space to the community in 2028 and creating space for 5 MCGs of new parklands along Banyule Creek.
