From 8pm Tuesday 29 April until early July, we’ll close Linfield Parade at Epping Road, so we can safely upgrade the intersection.
During this time, we’ll:
- upgrade the new northbound lanes of Epping Road.
- build a new medians and kerbs.
- install new drainage, traffic signals, safety barriers and street lighting.
Access will be maintained via Lyndarum Drive and De Rossi Boulevard. Delays of up to 5 minutes are expected.
Fulham Way/Epping Rd bus stop
During this time, the Fulham Way/Epping Rd bus stop will be closed. The Fulham Way/Epping Rd bus stop will be closed during these works. A temporary bus stop for Route 356 to Wollert East will be located on Pine Park Drive. You can find more information at ptv.vic.gov.au.
From 8pm Tuesday, 29 April to 5am Wednesday, 30 April 2025, we’ll be undertaking preparation works to close Linfield Parade at Epping Road. There will be lane closures, holds in traffic and reduced speed limits at the Linfield Parade / Baltrum Drive intersection while we install temporary barriers and adjust traffic signals and line-marking.
Traffic controllers will be in place to guide motorists through the area, and delays of up to 20 minutes are expected during peak times.
We encourage you to plan your journeys and allow extra time when travelling through the area.
Baltrum Drive access change
While Linfield Parade is closed, the traffic lights will be switched off and access to Baltrum Drive will change to left in and left out only to ensure the safety of our work crews.
If you’re travelling southbound on Epping Road, there will be no change to the way you access Baltrum Drive. If you’re travelling northbound on Epping Road, you will need to detour via Pine Park Drive.
We recommend using Pine Park Drive to turn right onto Epping Road while these works take place.
