Park, Young and Hall streets will be closed on the west side of High Street from 7pm, Tuesday 17 June until November so we can safely upgrade these intersections.
These works will include:
- upgrading existing lanes and kerbs
- installing new drainage and medians
- building new lanes and shared walking and cycling paths
- adding new on-road bike lanes and street lighting
- installing new traffic lights at Park Street.
Access will be maintained via Miller Street, Memorial Avenue and Duffy Street. We encourage you to plan your journeys in advance and allow up to 10 minutes additional travel time.
Local traffic changes
To help manage traffic flow, the High Street service road (between Young and Hall streets) will temporarily operate as one-way street:
- To access to properties and businesses including Aurora Support Services, Epping Preschool and Wellbeing Chiropractic and Massage - use Young Street to enter and Hall Street to exit, via the service road.
- There will be no on-street parking available on the High Street service road (between Young and Hall streets) during this time
