The Ison Road Overpass will extend over the Melbourne-Geelong railway line to help provide Wyndham West’s community with a direct link to the Princes Freeway.
The project will deliver a new 4 lane road to connect with the Ison Road Extension, currently under construction.
A new walking and cycling path will be built along the new road to boost local active transport opportunities.
A new cycling path will also be built underneath the bridge to connect with future paths in the Harpley Estate development.
The Ison Road Overpass is jointly funded by the Australian and Victorian Governments.
Drivers will be able to use the new road in September 2026.
