The M80 Ring Road Completion has been through an extensive planning and approvals process.
In addition to overhauling one of Melbourne’s busiest freeways, the project will connect the Ring Road in Greensborough with the new North East Link tunnels in Watsonia and an upgraded Eastern Freeway.
To set consistent design and construction standards for these 3 city-shaping projects, initial planning approvals for North East Link, the M80 Ring Road Completion and the Eastern Freeway Upgrades were completed together.
A delivery partner has been appointed for the M80 Ring Road Completion, with further approvals for more detailed project designs and construction plans.
