The SRLA Graduate Program is an exciting, challenging and rewarding opportunity to learn from industry experts and contribute to shaping a better future for our growing city and state. As graduates, you’ll be working on an incredible project that will help shape our city, while you gain valuable industry experience.
SRL will connect communities across Melbourne’s middle suburbs and deliver more housing, business and job opportunities. As graduates you’ll contribute to achieving these far-reaching outcomes, whatever your role!
Construction of SRL East is powering ahead, so there’s never been a more exciting time to join our team.
During the program you will develop a wide range of skills and gain valuable industry experience as you rotate through project teams within your area of interest every 6 months. Positions are available across a range of disciplines including engineering, urban design and planning, commerce, economics, legal and communications.
As well as offering learning and development opportunities, the program also provides mentoring and networking to kickstart your career.

About you
To be eligible to apply, you must have:
- Australia Citizen, Australian Permanent Resident, New Zealand Citizen
- Completed a relevant university undergraduate degree in 2023, 2024, 2025 or graduate by February 2026
Over a two year program, you'll undertake:
- rotations in a range of business contexts (depending on your discipline and project team)
- a structured learning and development program involving a range of professional and personal development workshops, site visits, project work, mentoring and experiential learning opportunities.
- career planning to prepare you for the next step in your career.
Selection process for 2026
Our graduate program will commence on Wednesday 4 February 2026. As we complete each stage of the selection process, we'll notify both successful and unsuccessful candidates.
