The upgrades to the North East Oval at Elgar Park have been completed.
The upgrades include a synthetic playing surface which can be divided into 2 smaller spaces and line marking to accommodate multiple sports, on demand lighting (limited hours), perimeter fencing, retractable netting, new players and coaches boxes and additional car parking.
Local sports teams and schools will be able to book their sporting activities at the facility. The field is open for community use when it’s not in use by organised sports.
The upgrades for the Elgar Park North East Oval were funded by North East Link in partnership with Whitehorse City Council.
