On Monday 12 January, we’ll work overnight to build a temporary three-legged roundabout at the Barwon Heads Road and Harkness Boulevard intersection to keep traffic moving safely while we work.
From the night of Monday 12 to Sunday 25 January, we’ll close Central Boulevard at Barwon Heads Road while we build:
- new lanes on Barwon Heads Road at the intersection of Central Boulevard
- new turn lanes on Central Boulevard
- a new walking and cycling path along Barwon Heads Road.
On Saturday 24 January, we’ll work overnight to remove the temporary roundabout and reopen the intersection.
Barwon Heads Road will remain open at all other times during these works. Vehicle detours will be in place via Warralily Boulevard and Carter Road. Pedestrian paths will be impacted with detours signed during the closure.
