We’re upgrading the Epping Road and De Rossi Boulevard intersection and building new lanes to make your journey more reliable and safer.
From Wednesday 15 January until late April 2025, we’ll:
- upgrade existing lanes, kerbs and medians
- install drainage and a new traffic island
- build new walking and cycling paths and on-road bicycle lanes
- add new car parking and street lighting.
Temporary access changes
From Wednesday 15 January until late April 2025, we’ll need to close:
- De Rossi Boulevard at Epping Road
- Sunfield Drive at De Rossi Boulevard
- the eastbound lane of De Rossi Boulevard on the east side of Highpark Drive.
These closures are needed so we can safely upgrade the intersection and build new lanes.
During these works, access to Wollert Secondary College will be maintained via Linfield Parade and Highpark Drive.
Street parking will be available along Highpark Drive and Linfield Parade as short- term student pickup and drop-off points.
Wollert Secondary College will make temporary changes to their car park to create a one-way drop-off and pick-up zone for the school.
