Before construction compounds are established for the M80 Ring Road Completion, a construction compound plan is prepared for approval by the Minister for Planning.
M80 Mound Construction Compound Plan
A site compound will be established at the M80 Mound, Watsonia North. The Construction Compound Plan (PDF, 7.4 MB) was approved by the Acting Manager for Transport Projects, Infrastructure Assessment of the Department of Transport and Planning under delegation from the Minister for Planning on 23 April 2025, prior to the compound works commencing.
AK Lines Construction Compound Plan
A site compound will be established at AK Lines Reserve, Watsonia. The Construction Compound Plan (PDF, 21.4 MB) was approved by the Executive Director, Planning Facilitation of the Department of Transport and Planning under delegation from the Minister for Planning on 1 December 2023, prior to the compound works commencing.

Gabonia Reserve Construction Compound Plan
A site compound will be established by M80 Ring Road Alliance at Gabonia Reserve, to support the construction of the M80 Ring Road Completion. The Construction Compound Plan (PDF, 14.9 MB) was approved by the Executive Director, Planning Facilitation of the Department of Transport and Planning, under delegation from the Minister for Planning on 20 December 2023, prior to the compound works commencing. Amendments were approved by the Manager for Transport Projects, Infrastructure Assessment, under delegation from the Minister for Planning on 1 May 2025.
