About the Victorian Infrastructure Delivery Authority
The Victorian Infrastructure Delivery Authority (VIDA) delivers the state’s transport and health infrastructure programs.
This includes more than 200 projects such as the Metro Tunnel, North East Link, West Gate Tunnel, removing 110 level crossings, building new hospitals and upgrades to ambulance stations, specialist health services and early parenting centres.
VIDA is made up of 4 Project Offices:
- Level Crossing Removal Project (also delivering Regional Rail Revival and Melbourne Airport Rail)
- Major Road Projects Victoria (incorporating Big Build Roads, West Gate Tunnel Project and North East Link)
- Metro Tunnel Project
- Victorian Health Building Authority – delivering crucial health infrastructure projects.
VIDA is led by Director-General Kevin Devlin and was established on 2 April 2024.
