About the Victorian Infrastructure Delivery Authority
The Victorian Infrastructure Delivery Authority (VIDA) delivers the state’s transport, health and community safety infrastructure programs.
This includes projects such as North East Link, removing level crossings, building new hospitals, and upgrades to ambulance, fire services, SES and prison facilities.
VIDA is made up of 5 Project Offices:
- VIDA Rail – delivering Level Crossing Removal Project, Regional Rail Revival and Melbourne Airport Rail
- VIDA Roads – delivering Big Build Roads, West Gate Tunnel Project and North East Link
- VIDA Metro – delivering Metro Tunnel Project
- VIDA Health – delivering crucial health infrastructure projects
- VIDA Community Safety – delivering facilities to support Victoria’s justice system and emergency services.
VIDA is led by Director-General Kevin Devlin and was established in April 2024.
