Support for businesses, traders and workers

North East Link is being carefully planned and designed to minimise impacts on the community and the environment. However, as with all major projects, some impacts and disruptions are unavoidable.

We know that through careful planning these can be managed well and we’re committed to working closely with affected businesses, traders and workers. This includes through providing free access to specialist mentoring, training and one-on-one advice.

For the current program of mentoring and training click on the workshops and events tab below.

If you would to talk to us about support available to businesses, traders and workers please get in touch at businessengagement@northeastlink.vic.gov.au or call 1800 105 105.

Business Liaison Groups

The North East Link Project has established two business liaison groups (BLGs) to represent the wide range of businesses in and around the project area. These groups provide a forum to hear about the project, exchange ideas and identify opportunities to work together.

Our BLGs seek to advance the interests and preparedness of business for the construction of North East Link. Their local perspective, particularly in relation to minimising and mitigating the impacts to businesses, are vital as we move into project construction.
