Terms and conditions

  1. The Promoter is the North East Link Program (a division of the Major Transport Infrastructure Authority, an administrative office in relation to the Department of Transport and Planning), ABN 69 981 208 782 of Level 13, 121 Exhibition Street, Melbourne Victoria 3000. Please direct all enquiries to the Promoter.
  2. Entry is open to Victorian residents only. Entrants under 18 years old must have parental/guardian approval to enter and further, the parent/guardian of the entrant must read and consent to these Terms and Conditions. Parents/guardians may be required by the Promoter to enter into a further agreement as evidence of consent to the minor entering this promotion.
  3. Entry is FREE and gained by:
    1. purchasing a minimum amount of AUD $10 in a single transaction (Minimum Transaction Amount) at a participating Watsonia Trader (see participating stores below) during any of the following promotion periods:
      1. From 12.01am AEST 30 April 2022 to 11.59pm AEST 1 May 2022 (Promotion Period 1)
      2. From 12.01am AEST 7 May 2022 to 11.59pm AEST 8 May 2022 (Promotion Period 2).
    2. completing the online entry form with their details (including name and contact details) and uploading their proof of purchase between the following periods:
      1. For Promotion Period 1: 12.01am AEST 30 April 2022 to 12pm AEST 2 May 2022
      2. For Promotion Period 2: 12.01am AEST 7 May 2022 to 12pm AEST 9 May 2022.
  4. Entrants participate in the promotion online using the online entry form, and must accept the terms and conditions of this promotion, including the provision of a valid proof of purchase.
  5. Employees (and their immediate families), contractors and suppliers of the Promoter, are ineligible to participate in this Promotion.
    1. Immediate family means any of the following: spouse, ex-spouse, de-facto spouse, child or step-child (whether natural or by adoption), parent, step-parent, grandparent, step-grandparent, uncle, aunt, niece, nephew, brother, sister, step-brother, step-sister or 1st cousin.
    2. Contractors means any persons, firm or entity contracted by the Promoter to provide any materials, products or services, including any subcontractors
    3. Suppliers means any persons, firm or entity that supplies goods and services to the Promoter.
  6. An entrant may enter as many times as they like, providing the Minimum Transaction Amount is met and they meet these terms and conditions, and a single proof of purchase per valid entry. For the avoidance of doubt, a person can only have one entry per transaction and win a maximum of one (1) prize.
  7. The prizes are as follow:
    1. 6 Watsonia Shops Gift Cards to the value of $100 (Prizes)
  8. The winners of the Prizes will be notified by phone and in writing within five (5) business days of the draw.
  9. Prizes will be available for collection (with appropriate identification) from the North East Link Watsonia Hub (located at 17 Watsonia Road, Watsonia VIC 3087). Winners will need to arrange with North East Link Program a time for collection of the prize, with collection to be no later than 4pm on 30 June 2022 from the Watsonia Hub. Any unclaimed prizes after this date will be forfeited.
  10. If there are any unclaimed or unawarded prizes after 5pm on 26 May 2022, a prize draw will be conducted on 31 May 2022 at 12pm at the North East Link Watsonia Hub, 17 Watsonia Road, Watsonia VIC 3087. If the winner is drawn, they will be contacted by phone and in writing within five (5) business dates, and the winner will have their details published on the Watsonia traders page, and the Promoter’s social media (Facebook and Instagram) on 16 May 2022.
  11. There will be two (2) weekly draws which consist of three (3) x $100 prizes per week for two (2) weeks.
  12. The draw will take place on each date below at the North East Link Watsonia Hub, 17 Watsonia Road, Watsonia VIC 3087. The winners will have their name published on Watsonia traders page, as well as the Promoter’s social media pages. Thus, the winner agrees to have their name published by the Promoter on social media or other promotional materials.
    1. Draw 1: 5 May 2022 at 12pm (for entrants in Promotion Period 1)
    2. Draw 2: 12 May 2022 at 12pm (for entrants in Promotion Period 2)
  13. The Promoter will not be liable for any loss (including, without limitation, indirect, special, or consequential loss or loss of profits), expense, damage, personal injury suffered or sustained (whether or not arising from any person’s negligence) in connection with this competition or accepting or using any prize, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law (in which case that liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law).
  14. Personal information is only collected to enable the administration and promotion of the Competition. Personal information collected, used and disclosed in connection with this Competition is subject to the Promoter’s Privacy Policy available on the Major Transport Infrastructure Authority’s privacy page.
  15. The Promoter is not liable for any other additional costs associated with winning this competition or the prizes that comprise this competition.
  16. The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and the identity of entrants. Proof of entry and identity will only be deemed as sufficient at the discretion of the Promoter. Validity of entries and selection of entries is at the sole discretion of the Promoter.
  17. If this competition is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being properly conducted due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, the Promoter reserves its rights to disqualify any entrant, remove any entry or to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel this competition, to the extent permitted by law.
