Victorian YMCA received $16,156 in 2023 to deliver pop up skateboard sessions.
The 'Skate Pop up Parks' project included 8 Free 'Pop Up' Learn to Skateboard sessions which were held in Macleod and Yallambie for local children.
The sessions were open to first time skateboarders teaching them to skateboard safely, through to more experienced participants who had the opportunity to build on their skills using the portable ramps that were also purchased with funding from the North East Community Fund.
