Yan Yean Road Upgrade - Stage 2 Community Reference Group
Expression of interest
We’re looking for individuals with strong ties to the local area to represent their community in a Community Reference Group that will work directly with the Yan Yean Road Upgrade – Stage 2 project team.
Community Reference Group members will be responsible for representing community interests at monthly meetings with MRPV and will help share the latest project information with residents, businesses, and community groups.
The Community Reference Group will provide a forum for two-way conversations that will help develop the best outcomes for the project and the wider community.
The role of the Community Reference Group is to provide local knowledge and information and ensure community feedback is heard, which will assist in informing decisions made by MRPV on the Yan Yean Road Upgrade – Stage 2.

Big Build Roads (BBR), Major Road Projects Victoria (MRPV) collects your personal information through this form for the purposes of assessing your application and determining the outcomes and your eligibility to apply to be a member of the Community Reference Group.
Your personal information may be provided to other projects and agencies including the Victorian Infrastructure Delivery Authority (VIDA) and the Department of Transport and Planning. Your personal information may also be provided to BBR’s construction contractors in order to assist with carrying out the Yan Yean Road Upgrade - Stage 2 Project. Information that is shared with construction partners is done so on a secure basis and subject to strict confidentiality and privacy obligations. Use of the information by BBR’s construction contractors is also restricted to the purpose for which it was provided. Persons appointed to the Community Reference Group will have their names published publicly on MRPV’s website.
You are required to provide personal information in order to complete the Expression of Interest. BBR may use this information to provide you consolidated feedback on the submissions we receive, seek clarification on your submission or follow up with you where you have indicated you wish to be involved or updated on future BBR work, and assess your eligibility to be a member of the Community Reference Group. If you choose to provide personal information, we ask that you do not include this information anywhere other than the designated fields on this form. Do not include any sensitive information or health information in your response unless we have requested it.
