We’ve upgraded Boronia Station and built a new landscaped plaza on Dorset Road to deliver a modern and accessible precinct for the community.
Passengers are benefiting from a new forecourt and entrance canopies, as well as upgraded platforms with new shelters, seating, an updated waiting room, refreshed toilets, CCTV and improved lighting.
The new landscaped plaza provides places to sit, planting and greenery, as well as providing a safer and easier connection between the Dorset Road shopping precinct and the upgraded station precinct.
The project has improved accessibility through footpath upgrades, improved signage and more bike hoops. We’ve also upgraded drainage and footpaths along Lupton Way and throughout the station precinct.
The project has delivered a new pocket park near the Boronia Junction Shopping Centre, featuring garden beds, more trees, additional seating and a nature play area.
Planned timeline
The Boronia Station Upgrade was completed in late 2026.
