Aboriginal places are an area that is of cultural heritage significance to Aboriginal people, including:
- an area of land
- an expanse of water
- a natural feature, formation or landscape
- an archaeological site, feature of deposit
- land set aside for the purpose of enabling Aboriginal ancestral remains to be reinterred
- a building or structure.
Aboriginal places are protected under the Aboriginal Heritage Act 2006.
