We’re removing the dangerous and congested level crossings at Wickham Road and Highett Road in Highett by building a new rail bridge.

As part of the project, we’ll also build a new Highett Station with modern facilities.

Removing these level crossings will improve safety, reduce congestion and provide opportunities to revitalise the area with public space opportunities under the rail bridge.

Locals will hear more from our team about the removal of these level crossings soon. This will include information on how to get involved, project timelines and what early investigations will be happening.
