We’ve removed the dangerous and congested Keon Parade level crossing by building a 750m rail bridge over the road.

We also built a brand-new Keon Park Station with modern facilities for passengers, which opened Friday 21 June.

The vibrant, modern Keon Park Station will be located on the south side of Keon Parade, providing better access to the station and improved connections to local neighbourhoods, JC Donath Reserve, buses and Johnson Street shops, cafés, and eateries.

The project will improve safety and reduce congestion for more than 18,000 vehicles travelling through this level crossing each weekday, with boom gates down for more than 41 minutes during the morning peak, 7am to 9am.
