The new Bulleen Park and Ride was built 4 years ahead of schedule to ensure locals had access to buses while we build the new-look Doncaster Park and Ride.
Buses started running from Bulleen Park and Ride in April 2023 – the first part of building the Eastern Busway.
Bulleen Park and Ride makes it easier to catch faster, more frequent buses to and from the city. The premium station includes:
- a 5000m² green roof community park
- parking for up to 370 cars
- quick drop-off and pick-up bays
- walking and cycling paths that connect to Koonung Creek Trail and Thompsons Road
- bike storage cage and hoops
- ramps, toilets and myki services.
Bus stop closure at Bulleen Road citybound entry ramp
Later this year, we’ll open a new walking and cycling bridge over the Eastern Freeway, making it easier and safer to get to Bulleen Park and Ride. We expect to open the new walking and cycling bridge in the second half of the 2026, before the citybound entry ramp bus stop closes. All previous services from Bullen Road citybound entry ramp will be redirected to Bulleen Park and Ride.
