Speed limit changes
Until construction is completed, the speed limit along Yan Yean Road will be 60km/h at all times between Kurrak Road and Jorgensen Avenue, and 40km/h at all times
- in the school zone outside Yarrambat Primary School
- between Jorgensen Avenue and the Bridge Inn Road/Doctors Gully Road roundabout
- along Doctors Gully Road between the roundabout and east of the Doreen Primary School.
Traffic holds and traffic management
Temporary lane closures and traffic management will be in place along Yan Yean Road and side streets at times until construction is completed.
To minimise disruption to drivers, where possible we’ll restrict works on the road between 9.30am and 3pm Monday to Friday during the school term and between 7am and 5pm Monday to Friday during the school holidays.
Please allow for additional travel time of up to 10 minutes when travelling through the area.
