Sunbury Line now boom gate free

We removed the level crossing at Gap Road, Sunbury by building a road underpass and rail bridge.
This project was delivered in a partnership between the Level Crossing Removal Project and Rail Projects Victoria.
The boom gates were down for up to 26% of the morning peak, with up to 24 trains running through the crossing.
Timeline
The Gap Road level crossing was removed in September 2022.
