PLANNING

Armstrongs Road and Station Street, Seaford

We’re removing the dangerous and congested level crossings at Armstrongs Road and Station Street in Seaford by building 2 separate rail bridges over the roads.

With these level crossings gone, journeys will be safer and more reliable for drivers, pedestrians and bike riders.

We’ll also build a new modern and accessible Seaford Station with better facilities for passengers.

The new rail bridges and elevated station will provide more opportunities for new community spaces, car parking and walking and cycling connections.

Planned timeline

Construction will start in 2027, with the level crossings gone for good and the new Seaford Station open in 2029.

The Frankston Line will be level crossing free by 2029, transforming the way locals live, work, and travel.

Have your say

We’re seeking feedback on how you move around the area and what you love about Seaford.

Your feedback, along with technical and engineering requirements, will help shape the project’s concept designs that will be released next year.
