We're building a new temporary traffic light intersection at the M80 Ring Road Interchange at the Greensborough Bypass and relocate existing traffic lights. This traffic arrangement will be in place for up to 18 months.
From 7.30pm, Friday 19 September to 5.30am, Monday 22 September, we’ll close the M80 Ring Road in both directions between Plenty Road and Greensborough Bypass, and the Greensborough Bypass between Civic Drive/Diamond Creek Road roundabout and Grimshaw Street.
Detours will be in place via Grimshaw Street, Plenty Road and Civic Drive/Diamond Creek Road roundabout. Delays of up to 60 minutes are expected.
Following works in September, the existing traffic lights will be relocated, and crews will create a new temporary intersection closer to the Macorna Street walking and cycling bridge.
