Track and signalling works will take place along the line near Maud St from late June until early July. We will remove the Maud St pedestrian crossing as part of these works.

There may be increased noise, dust, vibration and lighting while these works take place.

South Geelong Station

Getting around Marshall and Grovedale in June (PDF, 2.4 MB)

• The Reserve Road level crossing will be closed, including the Barwarre Road intersection from 15 June to 10 July.
• The Burleigh Drive and Reserve Road intersection will only be closed for the weekends of 15 and 16 June and 29 and 30 June.
• Pedestrian access will be maintained along Barwarre Road to Reserve Road, and from Burleigh Drive to Reserve Road, with traffic management in place.
• McHarrys bus route 40 will continue to operate via Surf Coast Highway and Reserve Road.
• From Saturday 15 June there will be 24-hour works at Marshall Station.
• At Marshall Station, the replacement coach stop will be located in the new
  bus loop.
• The new station building will open to the public including the ticket office, toilets and sheltered waiting area from mid-June. We will keep you updated as construction progresses.
• Myki will be unavailable at Marshall Station, please touch on/off at Geelong Station.
• There will be 24 hour works at Barwon Heads Road level crossing from 17 June until early July.
• There will be 24 hours works at Station Road from 15 June until late July.
• During the winter work blitz, work will also take place at Marshalltown Road level crossing, Surf Coast Highway level crossing and at Waurn Ponds Station.

Getting around South Geelong and surrounding areas in June (PDF, 2.0 MB)

• From Saturday 15 June there will be 24-hour works at South Geelong Station.
• The station building at South Geelong will be closed to the public from 15 June.
• Myki will be unavailable at South Geelong Station, please touch on/off at Geelong Station.
• A temporary ticket office, toilets (including an accessible toilet) and a sheltered waiting room will be available while coaches replace trains from South Geelong Station. These facilities will be accessed from Yarra Street.
• The V/Line replacement bus stop will be located on Yarra Street.
• There will be 24-hour works at Bowen Way from 15 June to mid-July.
• The pedestrian level crossing at Maud Street will be permanently closed in late June.
• There will be 24-hour works at Carr Street (Swanston to Fyans Street including Strong Street) from June until late July.
• 24-hour works will occur at the Fyans Street level crossing and the roundabout will be closed from 12 June to 26 August.
• 24-hour works at the Barwon Terrace level crossing will require the road to be closed from 15 June until 7 July.
• During our winter work blitz, works will also occur at Yarra and Swanston Street level crossings.
