We've closed the level crossing at Station Street, Officer.

Vehicles can cross the rail line via the new Brunt Road bridge or Siding Avenue underpass.

We'll continue to work in the area, including making access to Officer Station easier and safer with new pedestrian and cycling path connections and planting more than 3000 new trees, shrubs and grasses.

There have been 6 near misses at this crossing since 2012.

Closing this crossing will improve safety, reduce congestion and allow more trains to run more often.

The closure of this level crossing will help to create a level crossing-free Pakenham Line which will change how locals live, work and travel. With no level crossings on the train line, journeys on the Pakenham Line will be faster and local roads safer.
