Ongoing community engagement will play an integral role in shaping Melbourne Airport Rail, and Rail Projects Victoria wants to hear from as many people as possible through each stage of the project.
You’re also invited to check out our virtual information room, which is an online platform that enables visitors to explore information boards, read fact sheets and watch animations from any device.
Feedback from stakeholders and communities will be integrated with the planning and design process to help inform the development of the project.
From December 2020 to March 2021, we asked local communities what is important to them and what they think are opportunities for improvements as part of the Melbourne Airport Rail project. This could include station facilities, walking and cycling connections, open space, and other key features near the rail alignment.
The What we heard report details the key themes raised in feedback from the community, local businesses and stakeholders during the early planning phase. These themes will help identify important issues for the project to consider as the design continues to develop.
