A new Albion Station will be built to become a modern and accessible station as part Melbourne Airport Rail Stage 1: West Footscray to Albion Rail Upgrade.
The new Albion Station is funded by the Victorian Government and it will provide an important boost to this growing precinct.
Further design development and community engagement will be undertaken in 2026 to shape the design of the new station.
Timeline
The new Albion Station will be complete in 2030.
