Terms and Conditions have been developed online with the Victorian Commission for Gambling and Liquor Regulations conditions set out in the Gambling Regulation Act 2003 and Gambling Regulations 2015.

Melbourne Airport Rail Stage 1: West Footscray to Albion Rail Upgrade ‘SMS sign up’ Promotion

By submitting an entry into the Melbourne Airport Rail Stage 1: West Footscray to Albion Rail Upgrade SMS sign up promotion (Promotion), you are consenting to the following terms and conditions:

  1. The Promotion is conducted by VIDA Rail (formerly the Level Crossing Removal Project) a division of the Victorian Infrastructure Delivery Authority, an administrative office in relation to the Department of Transport and Planning, ABN 69 981 208 782 of Level 9, 121 Exhibition Street, Melbourne, Victoria 3000 (VIDA Rail).
  2. There is no entry fee for the Promotion.
  3. The Promotion is open to current residents of Victoria only.
  4. The Promotion will run from 12:00AM AEST Friday 25 September 2026 to 11:59PM AEST 25 October 2026 (Promotion Period).
  5. To validly enter the Promotion, a person must:
    1. be 18 years of age or over on the date of their entry into the Promotion; and
    2. sign up to receive SMS updates on Melbourne Airport Rail Stage 1 project works by texting: ‘MELBOURNE AIRPORT RAIL’, SUNSHINE’, ‘ALBION’ and/or ‘TOTTENHAM’ to 0447 438 529.
  6. By entering the Promotion, you will be added to the Melbourne Airport Rail Stage 1 SMS subscriber list for community updates. You can opt out of the Melbourne Airport Rail Stage 1 SMS subscriber list at any time by texting ‘STOP’ to 0447 438 529 or by contacting VIDA Rail to request removal from the subscriber list by emailing airportrail@bigbuild.vic.gov.au or calling 1800 105 105.
  7. The validity of entries and selection of entries are at the sole discretion of VIDA Rail.
  8. VIDA Rail reserves the right to modify, suspend or cancel all or any part of the Promotion at its sole discretion.
  9. VIDA Rail will draw five winners at random from the new subscribers to the Melbourne Airport Rail Stage 1 SMS subscriber list on Monday 26 October 2026.
  10. The five winners will each receive one hamper at random. Each hamper will contain a mixture of goods and/or vouchers with a combined total prize value of approximately $100 to $120 value (Prize). The exact contents of each Prize will vary but may include non-perishable food, personal care items, food/beverage vouchers, and other potential miscellaneous items purchased at the discretion of VIDA Rail. Any vouchers within the Prize must be redeemed in accordance with any validity period or conditions specified by the issuer. Any food products included in the Prize will be packaged with ingredients listed and should only be consumed within the relevant best before or use-by period on the packaging, and at the risk of the consumer.
  11. VIDA Rail will call the winner via their SMS sign-up number to arrange a suitable time and date to deliver the Prize. If the winner is unable to be contacted after reasonable attempts are made, a replacement winner will be drawn at random.
  12. The Prize is not transferable. Neither the Prize, nor any unused part of the Prize, can be sold, scalped, auctioned, raffled, pledged, or promoted as an incentive or reward. VIDA Rail is not liable for the Prize being lost, damaged, unavailable, uncollected or undelivered. To the extent permitted by law, VIDA Rail makes no representations or warranties as to the quality, suitability, redeemability or merchantability of the Prize.
  13. Personal information is collected to enable the administration and promotion of the Promotion, including the announcement of the winners’ names on social media or other promotional materials. Personal information collected, used and disclosed in connection with this Promotion is subject to the VIDA Rail Privacy Policy.
  14. VIDA Rail shall not be liable for any loss or damage whatsoever which is suffered (including but not limited to indirect or consequential loss) or for any personal injury suffered or sustained in connection with the prize or the Promotion, except for any liability which cannot be excluded by law.
