About the artwork

Exceptional artist and photographer Sarah Walker and illustrator Sophie McPike have created a series of intimate portraits featuring a diverse array of Fringe Festival artists.

Forming a pathway through the city, this series of fantastical outdoor artworks turns the Metro Tunnel acoustic shed at Franklin Street into a bright new realm of artistic possibilities.

Taking Fringe artists out of the ordinary and placing them in new, speculative worlds, Face of Fringe will reimagine how we perceive local artists as we step into their imaginations.
