The Metro Tunnel opens early December

As part of the Summer Start program, trains will start running through the Metro Tunnel and stopping at all 5 new stations in early December.

On 1 February 2026, the Big Switch will introduce a new timetable across the public transport network and permanently change the Cranbourne, Pakenham and Sunbury lines.
