Using the Metro Tunnel

Multi-storey developments are planned to be built above Town Hall and State Library stations.

These developments are not part of the Metro Tunnel Project.

Town Hall and State Library stations will remain open these developments are built.

Town Hall Station

Town Hall Place is a commercial building being developed by Lendlease above the Town Hall Station entrance on Swanston Street.

State Library Station

A development is planned at State Library Station, above the station’s main entrance at the corner of La Trobe and Swanston streets. This building is developed by Scape.
