In June 2022, the Metro Tunnel Creative Program commissioned photographer Theresa Harrison to document the creation of a new work, Momentum by Women’s Circus. Momentum is a public, site-specific circus performance which invites the audience to take a journey, experiencing moments of connectedness, change and possibility.
About the artist
Theresa Harrison has been working, collaborating and collecting images within the Melbourne performing arts world for 15 years. Her work has a sense of playful drama while endeavouring to capture authenticity and connection.

About Momentum by Women’s Circus
Momentum is co-commissioned by Arts Centre Melbourne and the Metro Tunnel Creative Program as part of Alter State, a major disability arts festival celebrating contemporary art and live performance by artists from Australia and Aotearoa (New Zealand).
