We’ll close the Eastern Freeway in both directions between Bulleen and Tram Road from 10pm, Friday 17 April to 5am, Monday 20 April while crews work to asphalt new freeway lanes.
Delays up to 60 minutes are expected. On-road signalling will be in place to guide motorists and commuters through the area.
During this closure, the following ramps will be closed to help ease traffic congestion:
- Chandler HighwayRingwood-bound entry ramp
- Middleborough Road citybound entry ramp
- Blackburne Road citybound entry ramp
- Springvale Road citybound entry ramp.
We’ll close various right-turn movements and bus stops to help ease traffic congestion. There will also be no parking or stopping along Doncaster Road in both directions between Burke Road and Cityview Road to ease traffic congestion.
Walking and cycling bridge closure at Heyington Avenue, Doncaster
We’ll close the walking and cycling bridge at Heyington Avenue from 10pm, Friday 17 April to 5am, Monday 20 April to complete minor finishing works.
During this time detours on the north side of the bridge are via Heyington Avenue, Elgar Road and Paul Avenue or on the south side of the bridge via parklands and Paul Avenue.
