Traffic barriers have now been installed from Burke Road to Springvale Road, with long term speed reductions in place until 2028.
There will be progressive closures of open space areas and sections of the Koonung Creek Trail between Tram Road and Springvale Road
Between Hoddle Street and Burke Road, traffic barriers will be installed in the coming months with long term speed reductions in place commencing from late 2025 until 2028. Speed reductions will be in place on the Eastern Freeway until 2028.
Overnight lane closures remain in place for site investigations ahead of major construction starting in 2026.
