Thompsons Road is closed in both directions between Bulleen Road and Thompsons Road Ringwood-bound entry ramp to the Eastern Freeway until 5am, Monday 14 September.
During this closure we'll build the permanent road alignment, complete tie in works to the newly widened Bullen Road bridge and continue to build the elevated ramps connecting the upgraded Eastern Freeway into the new North East Link Tunnels..
Delays up to 30 minutes are expected. On-road signage will be in place to guide motorists and commuters through the area.
- Detour northbound: Bulleen Road and Manningham Road
- Detour southbound: Bulleen Road, Doncaster Road and Manningham Road.
We’re also closing the Thompsons Road pedestrian path between Bulleen Road and the Thompsons Road Ringwood-bound entry ramp from 3pm, Thursday 10 September until 5am, Monday 14 September.
During this time a shuttle bus service will operate for pedestrians between the corner of Leonis Avenue and Bulleen Road to the front of the Manningham Hotel & Club on Marcellin Access Road in both directions.
There will be changes to bus routes 905, 280, 200, 305 and 309 during this closure. Please see signage at bus stops or visit Transport Victoria to plan your journey.
